Main idea of the interior design project

This three-room apartment is designed for a young family with two children living in the center of Moscow, who appreciate simplicity and minimalism, as well as natural materials in interior design. Almost all the walls in the apartment (except for the children's playroom) are painted gray, which beautifully highlights all the interior items and furniture. The foundation of this design project is focused on spatial organization. The apartment layout has been modified from the developer's proposal to create a spacious kitchen-dining-living area of nearly 50 m². There is a master bedroom for the parents and a children's room for each child.

Interior design of living room

The living room is the central space, as it is in any apartment. In our project, it is also the most vibrant and spacious area for relaxation, combined with the dining and kitchen areas. The large space of these three zones is designed in a unified style.

1. The kitchen area is highlighted like a cube, using wooden panels and an island in the center. On the opposite end, the living room wall is adorned with wooden slats, echoing the kitchen’s cladding.

2. The dining area is situated between the kitchen and living room, providing a logical flow for evening activities, from meal preparation to family movie watching on the sofa.

3. Since the living room is not enclosed by doors leading to other rooms, the walls of the hall and hallway continue the same color as the living room.

Interior design of master bedroom

In this compact interior space, all essentials are included:

• Bed

• Nightstands on both sides

• Dressing table with a mirror

• Chest of drawers and television

Two primary colors have been chosen for the room—gray and brown, whether in wood or dense fabric curtains. The variety of textures subtly emphasizes the strict elegant taste of the residents.

Interior design of children's playroom and bedroom

The apartment features a "growing" children's area. In one room, children will sleep in adjacent beds, while the second room will be designated for play. However, each room is designed for future transformation into a full-fledged space with sleeping and working areas for each child.

Interior design of hallway

Upon entering the apartment, a mirror is positioned directly opposite the door, creating an effect of greater space. The black color of the entrance door and walls further enhances this effect.

Bathrooms

The apartment includes two bathrooms: one with a bathtub and another with a shower. The primary material for wall cladding is marble-like porcelain stoneware in various colors. The beauty of the stone's texture is accentuated by black faucets, shelves, and light fixtures.
